London in the spring

Everywhere is looking so pretty at the moment that I couldn't help taking gratuitous shots of the flowers everywhere. I especially love the combination of Victorian white stuccoed buildings or restrained Georgian buildings with blossoms. I took most of the photos in Notting Hill.

ps and thank you to my lovely cab driver Chalma who so patiently waited whilst I took these shots on my way home from work.

  3. The daffodils are incredible...and the tulip magnolias. My daughter stayed briefly in January...barely able to get to Cambridge because of the snow. How intoxicating it looks now! Thank you. Trish

  4. I miss London so much!
Love walking in all these places you shared!
I lived all over the city - from Marylebone Lane W1, to a grand but grotty student flat next to Madamme Tusaud's, to lovely Sydney Street Chelsea, to to St Stephens Gardens near Portobello Rd, to Park Road on Regent's Park where I stayed the longest.

Oh and London cabbies rock! No where in the world are they so respected and skilled.

    xx C
