I love the windows at Fortnums this year with a 50s showgirl theme! Fun and indulgent - everything Christmas should be!

Ellen : "I pick the Anzu 'Silk slipper' card. 18th century in style, and decorated with painted peonies and holly berries, and hand-embellished with Swarovski crystals it is festive without being obvious".

German Christmas markets

Wednesday, 14 December 2011

It's been lovely to see the Christmas markets in Germany this year. The carved wooden decorations, giant nutcracker men, chocolate and marzipan, and snowy scenes. Love the stars on top of the tents in Berlin, and below the elaborate displays in Stuttgart.

Anzu Pick of the Week: By Jasmine

I love anything to do with angels and this card is very Christmassy but not in the
conventional way. I would also love to have this as a piece of jewellery, especially with the Swarovski crystals that are on the card!

More studio inspiration...

Wednesday, 7 December 2011

As the studio gets closer to completion, I'm looking at different interior images for inspiration.
I love the gold leaf wall sculpture and just the whole interior of this office.

I like the wall panels, and just the general layout of this room. As you can tell, we're going on a general white, gold and grey colour theme here..

Inspiration boards look great and are just a must.

Grey, antique gold and chandeliers.

Anzu pick of the week, by saffiah

Friday, 2 December 2011

The weather has unfortunately plummeted, and it seems Winter is truly here. This means more tea, hot water bottles, and blankets for the Anzu team. The Patchwork Teapot card sums our mood up perfectly: vibrant quilt fabrics and a pot of tea to cheer us up!
