A modern piece from Alex Monroe. So sweet
When I was little we also used to keep bees; in hives outside but also in a sort of observation box set into the wall in the telephone room. It was like this one below, only completely set into the wall, with a pipe so bees could come in from and go outside. It was fascinating to sit watching the bees work and spot the queen bee whilst talking on the phone!
