Creative spaces

Following on from my post of last week, I thought I'd do a post on Andy Warhol's Factory which I love the look of. Perhaps I should bulk order some tin foil too!

'While one person was making a silkscreen, somebody else would be filming a screen test. Every day something new', John Cale from Velvet Underground

Very envious of the huge working space - useful for parties too!

And also like the look of this Damien Hirst/Warhol Factory/Levi's Pop up shop in Fred Segal, Santa Monica

All that foil, maybe not so much! But yes, what a time and space. My hubby and I used to run into J. Cale at Battery Park City in NY when we were all watching the sunset. He seems to have survived it all alright.

I create in a barn in the summer and in my house in the winter - both inspire me and one is cool and the other is warm. What more could a girl want :)
